Diesel Maintenance Technician - Paint & Body
Job Overview
The Paint and Body Technicianis responsible for restoring vehicles to proper OEM specifications while preserving and enhancing the appearance of vehicles to increase the longevity of the customer's equipment by upgrading with the latest technology and graphics. The Paint and Body Technician will perform job duties independently,with little to no supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Basic knowledge and understanding of truck body fabrication and major component replacement. Must possess basic computer entry (PC) skills, & possess high level diagnostics/troubleshooting skills.

- Pay rate starting at: $26.00/hr+, depending on skillset and experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Basic knowledge and understanding of truck body fabrication and major component replacement. Must possess basic computer entry (PC) skills, & possess high level diagnostics/troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced skills in welding and cutting torch operation (steel/aluminum).
- Advanced electrical/mechanical diagnostics and repair.
- Advanced diagnostic tool skills
- A.B.S. Diagnosis and repair.
- Use measuring and frame equipment.
- Use hand and power tools to repair damage.
- Experience working with a variety of metal and plastic, as well as, glass, electrical and mechanical parts.
- Experience with mix and patch paint colors, applying primer and paint using spray guns, ensuring a flawless finish.
- Understanding of tire inflation systems.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory.
- Installation of graphics and decals.
- Ability to perform special projects and fabrication for a variety of customer's applications.
- Ability to keep a clean safe work environment.
- Ability to perform all phases of heavy duty collision repair.
- Professional/appropriate interaction with internal & external customers
- Adhere to all Red Classic safety guidelines

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or GED

Knowledge acquired through 3-5 years of relevant work experience

D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification
