Ron Drogan has been the President of Red Classic since his appointment in July 2012. In his role, Ron leads this full service transportation company known for offering a full suite of transportation solutions with the goal of becoming the employer, transportation solution, carrier partner and fleet maintenance leader of choice. He brings with him more than twenty-five year’s management experience in international & domestic transportation, supply chain logistics and warehousing/distribution.
Prior to joining Red Classic, Ron served as Chief Operating Officer for The CrossGlobe Group. He was responsible for leading the operations for their warehousing, truckload, Intermodal, distribution and transportation services.
Previously, Ron spent 17 years at Bridge Terminal Transportation moving up the ranks to Vice President of Operations. Ron managed Bridge Terminal Transport, which had 41 terminals and employed 450 staff and more than 3500 contracted drivers. The entire company’s revenue and cost totaled an excess of 900 million dollars achieved by strategy, business development and financial planning.
Ron previously held board seats with Bridge Terminal Transport - Canada, Inc.; CrossGlobe Express; the Intermodal Carrier Council of the American Trucking Association and ATA Litigation Center, Inc. He currently is a board member of Red Classic Transportation Services, Inc., as well as North Carolina Trucking Association.
Ron received his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Sciences at Wilkes University. He also completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School and Business Development Studies at International Institute for Management Development located in Switzerland.
Dave Glancy is the Vice President Sales, Marketing & Strategic Planning for Red Classic. In his role, he creates growth and advancement opportunities supported by Lean Thinking and Six Sigma Analysis. Dave provides strategic guidance to departments’ senior management, capturing cost savings and productivity improvements throughout Red Classic. In addition to leading the identification, evaluation and pilot implementation of process improvement solutions, Dave spearheads the company’s Systems Transportation Team. With Dave at the helm, he will assimilate Red Classic’s reach in several new locations.
Dave was formerly the Senior Director of Operational Excellence for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated. Under his leadership, he transformed the CCBCC Supply Chain using subject matter expertise of business transformation concepts such as Value Stream Mapping and Improvement, Lean Thinking and Six Sigma Analysis. He also served as project manager and the lead for Supply Chain and customer service initiatives.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Marketing from the University of Akron.
Cary Morgan is the Vice President Maintenance Operations at Red Classic. He is responsible for the overall Maintenance Operations strategic planning, commercial business development and day-to-day maintenance operations for a business platform that includes more than 120 employees, 51 maintenance shops and over 6,000 assets.
Prior to joining Red Classic in 2013, Cary served as the Head of Distribution for Dean Foods Southeast Group. In this role he was responsible for DSD Distribution, OTR Transportation and Maintenance for Dean’s PET Dairy Division, one of Dean’s top five Divisions in both sales revenue and operating cost.
Previously, Cary served in executive roles in the Coca-Cola Bottling system for 30 years where he successfully led teams in sales, distribution, logistics and operational excellence. During his tenure at Coca-Cola, Cary spent 10 years as Division VPGM for Coca-Cola Enterprise Rocky Mountain and Northwest Divisions with the responsibility of leading more than 600 employees and achieving an annual revenue budget that exceeded $500 million dollars. Under his leadership both divisions qualified for CCE’s prestigious President Club.
Cary has also served as President of the Colorado and Washington State Soft Drink Associations.
Tim Studebaker joined Red Classic in April 2014 as Vice President Operations. He is responsible for overseeing Customer Service and Operations.
Prior to coming to Red Classic, Tim was the Vice President of Revenue Management with USA Truck from 2011- 2013 and Vice President of Sales with Transcarriers from 2009-2011.
He is a native of Fayetteville, AR. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and logistics from the University of Arkansas.
Dennis White assumed the role of Sr. Director of Brokerage Operations for Red Classic in May of 2014. His responsibilities include working in conjunction with the fleet to ensure all company shipments are efficiently handled with precision and care. Dennis is one of the newer members of the team bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience, primarily in the freight brokerage arena.
Prior to joining Red Classic, Dennis worked in various capacities for one of the nation’s largest third party logistics companies. Having been part of multiple business units, Dennis has in depth experience with everything from new division startups to complete overhauls. He has a proven track record of developing successful logistics solutions for multiple Fortune 500 companies, specifically LTL, Full Truckload, Warehousing and TMS services to complete outsources.
During his career Dennis has been a key contributor in an organization that grew from $1 billion to over $10 billion in sales and had a front seat to the expansion of the industry from an estimated $30 billion to over $150 billion in annual gross revenues.
Dennis holds a BA in marketing from the University of Dayton.
Justin Perdelwitz is the Sr. Director Finance for Red Classic. His responsibilities include accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, transactional finance and administrative activities.
Justin is among the original executive leaders of the company. He was tapped by Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in late 2010 to help shape and launch Red Classic. He officially transitioned to the company in January of 2011.
Prior to joining Red Classic, Justin served as the General Manager of Accessorial Recovery for Maersk Line’s US military account. In this role, he was responsible for the recovery and contractual compliance of accessorial charges billed to the U.S. Military in the Middle East and Pakistan/Afghanistan theatres.
Previously, Justin served in a number of financial and operational roles for Maersk Line, both living and functioning in the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia.
Justin is a graduate of the Maersk International Shipping Education (M.I.S.E) management training program, the Maersk Graduate Acceleration Program (G.A.P) and has a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University.
Lisa Harris serves as the Sr. Director of Human Resources responsible for developing HR processes and a culture that will allow Red Classic to attract, develop and retain the highest possible caliber of talent to meet our aggressive growth strategy.
Prior to joining Red Classic in 2015, Lisa served as the Director of Human Resources for Safran Turbomeca, a global aerospace company. In this role Lisa transformed the HR policies and processes to improve employee retention by over 20% annually.
Previously, Lisa served in leadership roles at L-3 Communications Fuzing & Ordnance Division in Cincinnati, OH, where she specialized in fully integrated Talent Management and Compensation. Before that Lisa spent 21 years with Celanese AG where she held increasingly responsible positions in all facets of Human Resources and Supply Chain in both manufacturing and corporate settings in six states and eight locations ranging from 125 to 4500 employees globally. Lisa was the first HR Leader to become a Lean Sigma Kaizen Leader and trained Six Sigma Black Belt. Lisa has devoted her career to employee development and engagement, process improvement, and effective change management through periods of significant change.
Lisa earned a BS in Industrial Administration from GMI Engineering & Management Institute, a five year co-op program in Flint, Michigan. She also earned her SPHR certification through the HR Certification Institute, graduated from the Coach U Essentials of Coaching program as well as many other training and development certifications.
Ed Akerberg is the Director of Safety Loss Control for Red Classic Transportation Services, LLC. He joined Red Classic Transportation Services in July 2013 and is responsible for Safety and Compliance for company owned assets, owner operators, brokerage due diligence, and recruiting which includes over 480 drivers.
Prior to working for Red Classic Transportation Services, Ed was a Risk Control Manager for nine years with Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated. During his tenure at CCBCC, he was responsible for Snyder Production Center bottling plant, North Carolina West and Virginia’s Sales and Distribution territories.
Since then and prior to Coca-Cola Bottling Ed spent 7 years working in safety and health for Shamrock Environmental, Tradesman International, and Blum, Inc. managing safety processes and implementing loss prevention programs.
Ed received his undergraduate in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health from Marshall University.
